No Paper Bag Needed

Good Morning Girls!  Wow!  My mind is still moving at the speed of light from yesterday's teaching!  I don't know about you, but it fired me up and got me thinking in the same way the Sustainable Momentum teaching did in January.  Speaking of which....have you looked at your goals lately, or did they vanish somewhere between the laundry and grocery shopping?  Well, I'm going back to mine, and I'm bringing you with me!  I know I always say that I want you to do your homework, but I reallllllllllly want you to do your homework this week.  I want you to do all of the Think Abouts, and stay in prayer until you receive some clear answers.  I want you to do this because starting next Monday, we are going to tackle these things as a group.  My messages are still going to revolve around my scripture for the day, but they will be focused on the goal I am striving towards.  I will share with you all tomorrow what my goal is.  Now, try and choose something that is significant; the kind of thing that almost makes you hyperventilate when you think of doing it!  I want you to think big because my goal is a long term plan,  it's not like I plan to change everything overnight.  We have some time.  This is the perfect time to try something life changing because you will have the support of the group.  You will know that others are in the midst of battle with you!  You can do it Girls!  And when you start to hyperventilate and "freak out",  meditate on the verse I had to go to a bazillion times yesterday and already this morning.......Psalm 34:4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.  He freed me from all my fears.

Love you all-
Jen

I've gone mine all picked out! Now, here's a question about your verse: what do we do when the Lord doesn't answer us in the way or timing we think He should?

Good Question.  God rarely answers us the way we think He should.  If He did, we really wouldn't need Him.  To think we know when and how He should respond means we think we already have the right answers.  Sometimes, during those moments when we feel that God is "withholding" information from us, it is simply because we are not ready to hear Him.  During these times, when I feel myself getting worked up because I need answers....NOW,  I find it helps to medidtate on verses like Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God"  Don't give up.  God hasn't turned His back on you.
