Are You Willing To Bind Yourself?
Hi Girls! Last night I read the most awesome book on how to be successful. I read 24 examples of how to succeed, or be successful. There were some specific stories of successful people, and some quotes to help renew your mind and show you how EVERYONE can be successful if they just follow these basic principles. I am so excited about them that I am going to share some of them with you over the next couple of days. Today we are going to talk about commitment. I'm sure you all realize that in order to reach your goals, you will need to make a commitment. Today, people throw the word around like it is no big deal. Breaking a commitment doesn't seem to matter either. However, Webster's describes commitment as: the state of being bound emotionally or intellectually to a course of action or to another person. If you take a few minutes to really let the definition sink in and register you will realize that it is a big deal. When you commit to something, you are saying "with everyone I am capable of, and more, I bind myself to this plan , no matter how difficult, in order to reach my goal" In fact, the author of the book I read last night wants you to succeed so badly, that he tells us to commit our actions to Him! Here is one of the "excerpts" from the book:
Proverbs 16:3 Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed
Love you all-
