It is What it Is- Part 2
Good Morning Again! If you haven't read It is What it Is, please read it now before you read this. Okay, so I logged out of the computer after my last message and went for my run. I didn't listen to my headphones, because I wanted to spend some quiet time with the Lord. I was excited to be outside so early because it is a beautiful morning. I started running, and praying, and asking the Lord what was up with this mornings message. I thought it odd that He would have me get up early, and then I would not have the words to express my heart. Then I noticed my disposition. I was still just as excited as when I woke up, I was currently praying, and I was thankful to be running on such a beautiful morning! I started laughing as I realized that I had just passed the test! I have learned that it is usually the little obstacles and frustrations that derail us much more than the big ones. When the big ones hit, we know to call in the troops and fight. However, when the little ones sneak up on us, we often play silly games, and walk right into the enemies trap. I could have gone for my run and whined to the Lord, and said "why did you wake me up so early? why can't I write this morning? what did I do wrong? have I lost the anointing in my writing?" but I didn't. I simply asked the Lord if there was anything He was trying to tell me, and did so with a glad and cheerful heart. So Girls, with an even bolder confidence than earlier this morning, I give you todays Word.......
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus
