Details, Details, Details
Good Morning Girls! I had yesterday all planned out. I was going to get up, blog, run outside, shower, and bring the kids to a friends house so I could get my hair done. That was my plan. My plan was thrown off at 6:45am when Charley woke up 90 minutes earlier than I had anticipated. (Thursday is the only day she gets to sleep in). So, instead of running outside before Tom left, I would have to do the elliptical inside because Charley wanted to hang out with me for a little bit. No big deal. Right before I hopped on the elliptical, my friend called. Her daughter was running a fever and had a stomach ache, but she was still willing to watch my kids. I told her I would figure something out, and hung up. My mind started scrambling for options, but I remained calm. I had studied the night before and meditated on todays verse. It says that the Lord delights in every detail of our lives. I stopped for a minute and prayed "Lord, you know how excited I've been to get my hair done. You know how important it is to me to get my workout in this morning. Your Word says you delight in every detail of my life. I ask you to help me this morning get the things done that I had planned." I was able to find the kids a place to go, but it would require me to leave an hour earlier than I planned, not leaving enough time to shower and work out. I packed my gym bag, and hopped in the shower not sure how everything was going to play out. I dropped the kids off, and headed to the salon. I got there early enough that I changed into my running clothes, and went for my run! I was able to do it all! Now, the new plan was a little more crazy than I would have planned, but it was exciting to see Gods Word and His promises to us unfold before me! He really does care about all of the details of your life!

ps In case you all are wondering.....my hair looks fabulous....Jessica Kelly is extremely talented and gifted!!!!!!
