Your Joy Assigment

Good Morning!  I am sorry Girls, I've been fighting this urge all week, but I cannot fight it anymore......here I go....I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart (where?).  down in my heart (where?).  down in my heart, I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart (where?) down in my heart to stay!!! And I'm so happy, so very happy, I've got the love of Jesus in my heart.  And I'm so happy, so very happy, I've got the Word of Jesus in my heart!  I guess it's true: Everything I needed to know in life I learned in pre-school!  You know, the great thing about joy is that it is contagious.  When you get around someone who is joyful, you cannot help but be joyful yourself.  In fact, sometimes I like to find the grumpy looking one in the crowd, and set my joy on them!  It's kind of a fun little experiment.  When you see someone else's joy increase, yours will increase as well.  It's kind of like when one person starts laughing really hard and their laugh is enough to make you laugh and then pretty soon you are both laughing and holding your stomachs and trying to stop and sighing and then laughing again and then if you've had kids, you are trying not to pee your pants, and that sick thing in itself makes you laugh harder, and then the goal suddenly becomes trying to get the other one to pee their pants,  Until pretty soon you both collapse backwards and feel like you just got done with an aerobics class.  That's what I am talking about!  The only difference is, the laughing spell only lasts a few minutes.  The joy we've talked about this week lasts forever!  So girls, go infect someone today, and bonus points if you make them wet themselves!

2 Corinthians 13:11  Dear sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful.  Grow to maturity.  Encourage each other.  Live in harmony and peace.  then the God of love and peace will be with you.

Love you all-
Jen
