Good Morning Girls!  Those of you who know me, know that gift giving(and receiving) is one of my primary love languages.  To me, the perfect gift is one that shows that you have been listening to me, observing me, and getting to know me.  It shows that you have interest in me.  It shows that you have taken the time to know what I need.  It is personal.  It is not the cost of the gift, as often the best gifts have been homemade.  Many of my friends have even learned that the best gift is sometimes one that I ultimately get to pick out myself, yet you will always get credit for it!  Jesus tells us in John 14:27 that he has left us a gift.  It is the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is what leads us in all truth.  He speaks to our hearts and guides us daily.  He brings us comfort, and peace. Let us not forget that even though it is free to us, it came with a high price. Jesus loves us so much that as he went to the cross to die for us, he was so concerned with us, that he left us with this additional gift.  As if salvation and forgiveness of sins were not enough!  No, he wants us to have even more than that!  He also wants us to have peace.  He specifically says it is a gift, which means all we need to do is accept it, and say thank you Jesus! 

John 14:27 "I am leaving you with a gift--peace of mind and heart.  And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.  So don't be troubled or afraid."
