Don't Let This Happen...

Good Morning Girls!  We now know that impatience often leads to us taking matters into our own hands.  We also know that when we do this we are often left feeling discouraged and frustrated.  The biggest danger occurs when we do not deal with our discouragement.  I believe Pastor Mac once said that discouragement, if not dealt with, is often the final feeling or emotion experienced before we quit and give up.  You may start by quitting the one thing you were trying to obtain, but it will eventually spill over into every area of your life.  Just as little blessings build up our faith for the bigger ones, little repeated disappointments can tear down our faith if we do not deal with it.  If we lose our faith, we have nothing left.  Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God.  We receive salvation by faith, healing by faith, righteousness by faith.  If we lose our faith we lose the ability to belive that the promises given to us in the Word are in fact for us.  They suddenly become someone else's promises, or outdated promises, or only for a few "chosen" people.  We are now an easy target for the enemy of our faith.  All he needs to do is whisper one lie into your discouraged heart, and he will pull you away from the only One who can and will fullfill the promises he has made to you.  If you are feeling discouraged, disappointed, or frustrated, spend some time with the Lord today.  Ask Him to mend your heart and restore your faith.  Ask Him to set you back on track and help you fully surrender your dreams to Him.  Thanks Him for the things He's done, and the things He has planned to do.  Also, tell the devil to take his lying, cheating, stealing, destroying hiney and get out of your life!

Matthew 9:29 The he touched their eyes and said, "Because of your faith, it will happen."

Love you all-
Jen
