Thought You Would Appreciate This Today......
Good Morning Girls! I shared with you all yesterday that last Friday the Lord honored is Word as usual. When He heard my cries for help, when I told Him I was slipping, He used a friend to deliver His word of encouragement to me. Now some of you may think this is all a nice coincidence, that my friend sends me stuff often, and it just happened to help. Let me tell you this: I do not believe in coincidences! God is a God of detailed planning. He knows what we need and when we will need it long before we have a clue that the bus is on it's way to run us over! Before I give you the Word, I want to share with you how it was being used. It was used in a prayer session. It was prayed for others to help move them into their God-given destinies. A couple of weeks ago I shared that we are often assigned a couple of people who seem in a lot of need for encouragement. They can be frustrating at times, but it is my believe that they were "assigned" to us because we are in fact being used by the Lord to help move them into their God-given destinies. So this prayer session spoke straight to my heart. The scripture that was sent to me is one I use often. However, most of my reading is done in the New Living Translation. This verse came to me in the Amplified which had some key words that ministered to me.
Hebrews 10:35-36 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of a steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away (and enjoy to the full) what is promised!
Sweet Jesus! How can that not have you jumping out of your chair?! It speaks to me for many reasons. First of all, I would say I am fearless. I am confident. I also believe God is a Rewarder! However, I also felt like "flinging it all away" on Friday! I am big on endurance, I struggle with patience. I truly believe my life is lined up with Gods will. I believe I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing. I believe I have cut out anything I am not supposed to be doing. I believe I will receive all that God has promised, but listen to this: and enjoy to the full! Girls, He does not want us to labor over His will for us! He wants us moving forward with patience and endurance. He wants us moving steadily in His will so that when we do receive the blessings, we will enjoy them to the full! Have you ever been really excited to go somewhere, and then you ran into so many obstacles and by the time you get there, you just wanted to be back home? Well, that is exactly what God doesn't want! He wants us to persevere, but not be miserable. He wants us to keep our eyes on Him and be able to enjoy and recognize the blessings he bestows on us! So girls, I will say it again....God is faithful! Cry out to Him and He will answer!
Keep in mind, this Word was delivered to me by my friend who was led by the Holy Spirit to send it to me. It took her 2 seconds. All she did was write "thought you would appreciate this today........" Can 2 seconds of your day, change someone else's?
Love you all-
Jen
