Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This...
Have you ever had one of those days where you had to fight with your mind all day? The world can seem overwhelming. Circumstances can seem hopeless. I know the Word and I know it works, but some days I get overwhelmed with life.
Other days I am ready for the fight. Usually these are the days that I am prepared for the battle. I've been in the Word, read a devotional, listened to a teaching, or maybe even chatted with an encouraging friend. These are the days that I remember that I am more than a conqueror. I am a fighter. I am tough. God never leaves me or forsakes me. He has my back. I have favor. Blessings overtake me. I have the wisdom of the Lord. God orders my steps. He works all things for good because He loves me.
Somedays a reminder or two is fine. Other days I need to renew my mind minute by minute. My encouragement to you is to take the time to renew your mind, your attitude. Stay in the fight. After all, the Lord is on your side. You know the outcome - you win!
Romans 12:2 NIV
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
