No Robe Needed

Good Morning Girls!  In Matthew 9:19-22 we read about the woman who had suffered for 12 years with constant bleeding.  She makes her way into the crowd following Jesus.  She pushes through everyone, believing in her heart all she needed was to touch the fringe of His robe to be healed.  She didn't need Him to lay hands on her, pray over her, or even acknowledge her.  She just needed to touch Him, and she would be healed.  When Jesus felt the power leave His body He turned to the woman and said "your faith has made you well" and she was healed that very moment.  This is one of many examples of women in the Bible who had great faith like a child.  Their hearts are pure, they simply believe.  I love reading about these women.  I also love praying for and thinking of all the women I know now that have this same child like faith.  For us, we don't  have the robe to reach for.  We have the promise of God.  We have the words of Jesus.  We have faith.  We have prayer.  We have the confidence that comes from reading and standing on the Word. There are definitely days, when our answered prayer seems so far away, that we could use something tangible, like Jesus in his robe walking before us.  But we do not.  So, to my Girls who are believing for finances, for cars, for babies, for healing, for direction, for encouragement, for love, for strength, for homes, for better relationships, for everything the Word promises us. let me assure you of this:  even though there is no tangible robe, Jesus still feels the same way and His answer to you is "Daughter, be encouraged!  Your faith has made you well!"

Matthew 9:21-22 for she thought, "If I can touch his robe, I will be healed."  Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, "Daughter, be encouraged!  Your faith has made you well." And the woman was healed at that moment.

Love you all-
Jen
