Real Woman Re-Cap

Good Morning Girls!  Can you believe it?  We are on the last verse of the Wife of Noble Character!  I hope you all had as much fun as I did!  I hope you have learned that this mythological, mysterious woman, is in fact real.  She is you.  She is me.  She is the woman at the grocery store, the post office, and the treadmill next to you at the gym.  Let's go back and list all of the characteristics this real woman has, as described by her works.  She is trustworthy, capable, confident, and adventurous.  She is good to her man, speaks well of her man, and promotes him.  She is thrifty, resourceful, and has good business sense.  She is prepared.  She delegates.  She is compassionate, kind, and wise.  She chooses her words carefully.  She is energetic, strong, unafraid, and playful.  She is loved by her family, and most of all: she loves the Lord!  Now let us take a look at what it does not say, for this is equally important.  It does not say she is perfect.  It does not say she accomplishes all of these things every day all the time.  It does not say she is a size 2 with long blonde flowing hair and big blue eyes.  It does not say she is timid, weak, or afraid.  It does not say she is better than anyone else.  Girls, when you break it down, there is no reason you cannot confidently go about your day feeling like a Proverbs 31 woman.  A real woman.  You may miss the mark sometimes, but I also never read anywhere that she was a quitter!  So girls, do your best.  Seek the Lord.  Do what you can, and do it well.  Ask for help in the things you struggle with.  And never, ever, think you are less than who you are.  For those of you who stuck with me through this journey are in fact Real Women!

We will finish tomorrow....

Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous and capable wife(woman)? she is more precious than diamonds!

Love you all
Jen
