Day 21 Love is Satisfied in God

Good Morning Girls!  My hope is that you were all able to take a moment yesterday and feel the love that Jesus has for each of us.  It truly is amazing.  I'm telling you, this revelation carries with it a power and desire to be more than you currently are, even if you are already awesome!  To realize the love of Christ is to understand just how important your life is.  Not to you, but to others.  Once you understand what it means to be a child of God you will have a greater sense of your purpose.  Struggles will seem less difficult.  Time will become more precious.  You will be able to discern what things are of highest value, and what things are dragging you away from your calling.  Oops, I am getting on a preach here.  I was saving that for today's assignment!

I am so happy to see today's assignment.  Happy because I know the difference this assignment will make in your life if you do it today, and every day for the rest of your life.  This assignment carries with it a power so great, you have to be a Christian to even have access to it! Unless God has claimed you as His own, you will not comprehend it.  Are you ready for it? It is the power of Gods written Word.  His Word combined with prayer have the power to set your life straight again.  They have the power to change lives.  To right wrongs.  To heal wounds.  To unlock mysteries.  To keep you satisfied and filled with love, when those around you have failed.

The Love Dare talks about how everyone else in our life will fail us to some degree.  Partly because they are human and are less than perfect.  Partly because the things we ask of them are unrealistic.  It also says that God alone will never fail us.  He is faithful.  He doesn't withhold His love. He doesn't fall short.  He isn't late (I know, we would like to disagree on that sometimes).  He isn't man.  He will keep all of the promises He makes to us.  He will see us through to the end.  He will never leave us.  Saying the prayer of salvation gives us that feeling for a while.  However, unless you really get to know Him, and spend time with Him, you will forget how you felt the moment you asked Him into your heart.  Circumstance will change your perception.  You will no longer feel His love.  You will only feel the pressures of life.

So Girls, I know you have heard this from me a million times.  I know for some of you it feels like one more thing to add to your already too long to do list.  However, I promise you, that if you make this commitment, you life will change, and you will find you actually have more time.   Fifteen minutes in the Word each day will change your life.  I know you can fit in 15 minutes.  If you tell me you can't, I will come to your house and follow you around for 24 hours and show you how you can....I am that serious about this one!  It doesn't have to be some earth shattering study.  Start by looking up the verse that I post each day and reading it in your own bible.  There is power that comes simply from opening it, trust me.  Read the verse for yourself and ask the Lord if there is anything He wants to reveal to you personally about how that verse ministers to your life, or to the life of someone else you are to minister to.  JUST DO IT!!!!

Okay, I'm done.....I love you all and I want the richest life for each of you, that is why sometimes I need to preach a little.  You all understand right?  Here's the assignment:
Be intentional today (and every day) about making a time to pray and read your bible.  Try reading a chapter out of Proverbs each day, or reading a chapter in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark , Luke, and John).  As you do, immerse yourself in the love and promises God has for you.  This will add to your growth as you walk with Him.

Questions:
How do you think spending time daily with God will change your situation and perspective?  How can you make Him a bigger part of your day?

Isaiah 58:11 The Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire

Love you all-
Jen
