Update

Good Morning Girls!  I signed on to the website and it said my last entry was 18 days ago.  18 days!  Seriously, it doesn't seem like 18 days have passed.  I will give you a quick summary of the last 18 days.  Ran the 10 mile race.  Had a garage sale.  Got strep throat.  The rest of the time was spent doing the same things as all of you.   You know, wrapping up the school year, going to school programs, t-balls games, and dance recitals.  Trying to keep up with the laundry, housework and all that comes from being a wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend.  Oh yeah, I also read a novel (haven't read one since vacation last August) and turned 37.  Both were overrated.
As for my writing, I'm not sure what's going on.  On Sunday during church I thought I felt the Lord say "It's time to write", but I open my blog and have nothing.  It's a little confusing, but I'm not moved by it.  The important thing is I got that "I must be doing something wrong and that is why I have nothing to write" feeling dealt with.  I thought that if I just started typing today the words would come, but they are not.  I guess it's not yet time.
I've been reading the story of David.  If anyone knows how to rest in the Lord, it would be him.  The Word describes him as being a man after God's own heart.  Sounds good to me.  The only bad thing is that whenever I read about him I picture him to look like Orlando Bloom in the movie Troy and it can get distracting.  I often find myself laughing out loud and hope God finds it funny as well (or at least doesn't think I am a total pagan baby).
So Girls, I hope you continue to keep on keepin' on.  One foot in front of the other.  It is what it is......and it's all good.........

Love and miss you all-
Jen

1 Chronicles 28:9  The Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts.  If you seek Him, he will be found by you.
