What If?
Good Morning Girls!
WHAT IF........
You were just about to sit down with your Bible and suddenly there was a knock at your door?
WHAT IF......
You answered the door and there were 3 men standing there?
WHAT IF......
The 3 men were God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit?
WHAT IF......
They told you to sit down on your couch because they had something to tell you?
WHAT IF......
God the Father looked you in the eye and said "Sweet Girl that I love, I know that you feel lost and alone at times. I know you wonder if I hear or even care about your tears and prayers. I know at times you think I have left you. But hear me when I say I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU! NEVER! Even when everything around you looks dark and hopeless, I am here with you! I have it all under control! I know the ride is bumpy and full of twists and turns, but even in the darkest places I am still the driver! TRUST ME! I will be faithful to you ALWAYS!"
WHAT IF.......
Jesus spoke next.
WHAT IF......
He cupped your face in his hands and looked deep into your eyes. So deep that it felt like He was looking straight through to your soul.
WHAT IF......
He said. "Sweet Girl that I love, it breaks my heart to see you struggling and wrestling for your life day after day. Look at me. I have already done it all. I have already fixed all that is broken. I have already suffered for all of your pain. I have already finished all that was and will ever be started. Look at me. You have already done all you need to do by simply believing in my love for you. Start there. Start with fully believing in how much I love you. If you are willing to believe with your whole heart that I love you, the rest will fall into place. TRUST ME! I will be faithful to you ALWAYS!"
WHAT IF.....
The Holy Spirit sat down next to you.
WHAT IF.....
He put his arm around you and said "Look. I know that you are faced with a million thoughts, responsibilities, and questions every day. I want you to know that I am going to stay here with you and help you sort them out. I will help you determine was is Truth and what are lies. I will help you decide what tasks to take on each day. I will help answer those questions that bombard your mind and heart. But I need you to do something. I need you to slow down. Slow down and breath. If you do not slow down and breath you will not be able to hear me when I speak. I will not scream above the voices in your mind. I will not do that because it is not good for you. I will speak quietly so you you learn to quiet yourself and listen. It is in this quiet place that you will find rest and peace. TRUST ME! I will be faithful to you ALWAYS!"
WHAT IF.......
After the Holy Spirit finished talking, God the Father, and Jesus took turns wrapping their loving arms around you and whispered in your ear "I am with you always".
WHAT IF........
The 2 of them walked out your front door, and the Holy Spirit stayed there.....with you.....always.......
