Hey Girls!  So my family has been waiting on a few things for a couple of years (please forgive the vagueness).  When friends ask me for updates in these "things" I have said on occasion "It ain't over til the fat lady sings.....". 

To be honest with you, I never really liked that saying (triggers somewhat of an emotional response from my inner fat girl that is still in the process of healing) , but it seemed to sum up what I was feeling- and that is "we are believing it will be taken care of and we will continue to believe that until we hear otherwise" (enter fat lady singing).

Today however, in Pastor Joseph Prince's daily devotion, he used a verse that really fits our situation more accurately. It paints a more optimistic picture; and best of all it is Biblical Truth!

The verse is: I am the Alpha and the Omega; the beginning and the end.  I like that!  It reminds me that not only does Jesus have the final say, but that his "final Word" is ALWAYS good.....even if we can't see it at the time.

When I think of our situation being declared finished by Jesus rather than a fat opera singer, I feel my faith rising.  For one thing, I know that when my Redeemer sings, he sings a song of joy.  He ain't no man of sorrow! 

I can hold out a little longer waiting on Jesus......And I tell you what.....I cannot wait to hear him sing!  Alleluia!!!
