Reclamation!!!
Good Morning Girls! "Forgive me Father for I have sinned....it's been 13 days since my last post......." I've never been to confession (probably because I am not Catholic) but every time I log on to my blog the first thing it shows me is how long it has been since I have posted a blog. Every time it is more than a few days I hear in my head "Forgive me Father......" It usually makes me laugh as I think to myself "I have seen too many movies".
Lately though it doesn't make me laugh. It makes my heart sink a little further. It stops me dead in my tracks and rattles my confidence before I even begin. I have logged on a few times, seen the guilty charge placed before me, frozen and logged back off thinking "What's the point?".
Well Girls let me tell you the point. The point is: I AM ANOINTED TO WRITE AND ENCOURAGE WOMEN TO A LEVEL THE WORLD IS UNFAMILIAR WITH ALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD!!!!
That's right! I am reclaiming my gift. I am binding the enemy from stealing my time, my talent, and my confidence! No more! Oh don't you rejoice over me my enemy, for though I may fall I will arise! Not only will I arise, I will dance a little jig right on top of your lyin', cheatin', stealin', ugly face! And that's all I've got to say about that (in my best Forest Gump imitation)
My only problem this morning is that I have suddenly gone from having nothing to say to having so much to say that I am not sure where to start. It's a good problem to have. I am not complaining!
In the spirit of reclamation (reclaiming my gift), let me ask you this: Is there anything in your life that the devil has lied, cheated, or stolen from you? Do you have a gift, a talent, a hobby that has been lost because of the distractions of life? Do you feel like your life has no purpose because you are not doing the one thing you believe you are gifted and anointed to do?
Girls, if the answer is yes to any of those questions, join me today in your own reclamation! Take back that which has been stolen. Ask the Lord to show you the way! Do not spend one more day giving your gifts away to those who are not the intended audience and recipients for they will be lost on them.
Don't spend another day feeling as though nothing you do matters. It is torture! Ask me how I know. I have been living that way for a year now. I have been hoodwinked into believing that my ministry days are over and the best is behind me. I should be thankful I had the opportunity. How dare I ask for more.
Well I am not asking for more. I am reclaiming what has been mine all along! I am not sure what that means or looks like. All I know is that I AM ANOINTED TO WRITE AND ENCOURAGE WOMEN TO A LEVEL THE WORLD IS UNFAMILIAR WITH ALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD! (and that's all I've got to say about that)
Anyone care to join me today in a little reclamation dance?
Acts 20:24 But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus- the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God
Love, grace, and a day of reclamation to you all-
Jen
