Word
I have a friend who uses a lot of slang for fun. I will send her a text or tell her a story and the response I get is often simply one or two words. Her favorite response is "word". It makes me laugh because I know it is a total urban word and this Girl is living the ultimate suburban life complete with newly purchased minivan. She is as far from "gansta" as a Girl can be (unless there are shopping gangs in which she would be the leader).
